APG pressure transmitters are used throughout the industry, in both process and storage environments. These pressure transmitters are built for harsh environments, high vibration, high-pressure spikes and even extended temperature compensation.

Functions
These pressure transmitters also known as pressure transducers use piezoresistive technology to accurately measure pressure.
There are different uses of mounting the sensing element to the pressure transmitter diaphragm. Some perform better in low pressure environments and others in high pressure all depending on the configuration of the sensor.
Once you obtain your measurement, the transmitter conditions the signal to the output you have chosen and sends it off to your control system.
Features
The wheatstone bridge, a small circuit attached at the back of the diaphragm is how it all works. The diaphragm flexes from pressure, the resistance in the Wheatstone bridge changes relative to pressure, providing a basis of measurement.
