This Route Creator plugin allows you to build an inspection path for every location survey that you can either print or download and run from your compatible thermal camera. Use these routes to acquire temperature data and thermal images in a logical sequence, automate data management, and maintain historical records for improved predictive maintenance. Reference Imaging allows you to use the previous images to ensure consistency in image capture, as well as inherit camera settings from the previous inspection. Once you've completed an inspection, you can upload images, data, and notes directly into your report templates, cutting your reporting time in half.

Thermographers can save hours on every repeat inspection using Thermal Studio and this plug-in which allow a trained and experienced thermographer to set-up an inspection route for future thermal inspections. Once the initial inspection route has been created, previous thermal images and their data will automatically populate into a pre-defined report in the correct order on every repeat inspection, allowing easier thermogram comparison and analysis. This plug-in can memorize the previous inspection level and span settings for each asset being inspected. This means the first inspection can be undertaken by an experienced thermographer to ensure the correct settings are used, and then repeat inspections afterwards may be conducted by less experienced thermographers who can rely on the memorised settings to capture an accurate image.

Further enabling less experienced thermographers to conduct repeat inspections, this plugin now displays the previous image taken on each asset in order, in the corner of the camera screen. This means that every time a repeat inspection is undertaken, the camera operator can see the image of each piece of equipment taken during the last inspection, allowing them to align the image they are currently taking for easier comparison and analysis.

Prepare for inspections

Simplify surveys by pre-planning the route using this software plugin for Thermal Studio Pro. This software allows you to create lists of the assets you need to inspect at each location, organized in the most efficient order. Additionally, previous inspection images can be associated to each inspection point, and will be available for viewing, on camera, while the inspection is performed. Then, export the route in digital format and upload it to a thermal camera running Inspection Route mode*. You can also export the file in a readable file format and print it as an inspection check list.
