Utilizes a measuring method that allows for waveshape independent TRMS measurements of periodic quantities (AC) and pulsating quantities (AC and DC) for both voltage and current at up to 10 kHz. An 1 kHz low-pass filter can be activated if required. The input signal is checked by a voltage comparator for dangerous voltages as long as the low-pass filter is activated, which are indicated at the display if present.

The MetraHit ISO insulation tester and multimeter is a battery operated, rugged, portable measuring instrument that is ideal for field use. It is a true RMS multimeter and insulation tester that has a 4¾ place, 30,000 digit backlit display.
