Collect data from wireless modules installed in remote or confined locations via a LAN connection with this data logger. New input modules measure strain and distortion, ideal for automotive applications involving the evaluation of vehicle components as well as robotic equipment.
Features
Stable logging - even at high voltages and frequencies. Minimize the effects of noise
This logger reduces the effects of noise to deliver stable logging, even at high voltages and frequencies. Legacy data loggers could not log temperature accurately in noisy environments due to the effects of high frequencies, which caused values to shift or fluctuate significantly. This logger has a revamped design to dramatically reduce the effects of high-frequency noise, and is ideal for temperature logging of inverters and batteries.
Connect strain gages directly and make measurements in as little as 1 ms
This logger is a data logger that can measure stress via directly connected strain gages. Capable of recording at frequencies on the order of dozens of hertz thanks to sampling at up to 1 ms, this logger is ideal for measuring stress and load on moving parts and strain on components such as brakes and pipes. And because it can accommodate a mix of various measurement units, this logger can simultaneously measure strain, temperature, and voltage as necessary.
Add a total of up to 7 wireless units for a maximum of 330 channels
With four U8552 VOLTAGE/TEMP Units and seven LR8532 WIRELESS VOLTAGE/TEMP Units, you can measure a total of 330 channels.
Sample output from a variety of sensors, including 1 ms pressure sensors
Measures at a sampling rate of up to 1 ms. This sampling rate is the best match to measure sensor outputs with a frequency response of under 100 Hz, for example pressure and vibration sensors.
Measure strain with a 1 ms sampling rate
Connect strain gauges directly and measure at a sampling rate of up to 1 ms. Strain gauges tend to have long, thin wires that are easily broken, but that potential pitfall can be avoided by using wireless units so that wire length is minimized.
Measure temperature near an inverter or battery
Measures at a sampling rate of up to 10 ms.
Make measurements in locations where it would be difficult to route wires
Work time can be reduced by using this logger and wireless units, since only minimal wiring is required. If the measurement target is located in a lab, this approach eliminates the need to string wire and drill holes in the walls of the monitoring room where data is checked.
Observe data from a remote location using a PC or tablet
By connecting this logger to a PC or tablet via a wireless LAN, you can control the instrument remotely using the built-in HTTP server or download data files using the built-in FTP server.
