Carry out damage-free tests on materials and components with the Thermal Imager Testo 890-2. Thanks to the 640 x 480-pixel detector the Testo 890-2 achieves the highest level of image quality. This allows for easy detection of weak spots and problems reliably in industrial and building thermography. With Testo's SuperResolution technology, the Testo 890-2 records extremely high-resolution images in megapixel quality (1280x960 pixels) for a high level of precision.

The patent-pending SuperResolution technology improves the thermal image quality of your Testo imagers with the included software upgrade. With SuperResolution, images have a higher resolution, and are therefore more detailed.
The important thing is that SuperResolution technology always records genuine temperature measuring values. There are no artificial intermediate values projected! This means that this technology offers the possibility of recording more temperature measuring values without using larger, more expensive detectors.

Energy losses in buildings’ heating or air conditioning systems can also be analyzed with the help of the high-resolution thermal images. The high level of detail in the image makes inadequate insulation, resulting heat losses or construction defects clearly visible. Leakages can also be displayed precisely in the thermal image using SuperResolution technology.
